Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (APSCPCR) has taken suo motu cognisance of additional videos circulating on social media that purportedly show the assault and abuse of a minor girl and a boy by an individual identified as Biri Tara.The commission had previously taken cognisance of an initial video involving the alleged abuse of a minor boy by the same person. It praised the Itanagar Capital Region SP and his team for swiftly registering a case and arresting the accused.Expressing deep concern over the emergence of more video footage, the APSCPCR requested the SP to conduct an in-depth investigation to ascertain if more child victims exist, identify all perpetrators, and ensure the immediate rescue and protection of the two minors seen in the latest clips.
