Kota: A 52-year-old assistant sub-inspector, posted at R K Puram police station in the city, allegedly died of cardiac arrest in a private hospital, a few hours after his condition suddenly deteriorated while he was leaving with the mobile team for election duty from the police station Thursday.The deceased ASI has been identified as Radeshyam Sankhala, a resident of Balakund in Dadabari area in the city.Sankhala did several noteworthy works during his service and saved the lives of three to four individuals while they were drowning in Chambal river. He was awarded the DGP Disc and Gallantry award.
