From historic forts to Buddhist sites, temples and monsoon-fed waterfalls, ‘The Riding Chapters’ is taking bikers beyond Uttar Pradesh’s conventional tourist circuits. Organised by UP Tourism under the ‘Visit My State Uttar Pradesh’ initiative, the riding series brings together motorcycle enthusiasts to explore the state’s lesser-known heritage, spiritual and natural attractions. The first edition saw a convoy of nearly 65 riders travel from Lucknow to Kalinjar Fort in Banda, covering around 330 km through Kanpur, Bindki and Banda. Jaiveer Singh, Tourism and Culture Minister, flagged off the expedition and said the initiative reflected the department’s efforts to encourage travellers to look beyond Uttar Pradesh’s established destinations.
