LUCKNOW: A mouse nibbling at food, water leaking inside the coach and unauthorised passengers crowding a reserved compartment. For Anoop Singh, a journey aboard the Gorakhpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express turned into a running list of complaints, which he documented through a series of posts on X.Singh, travelling on train 15018 in B1 coach on seat number 70 on Monday, repeatedly tagged Railways authorities, including RailMinIndia, RailwaySeva, RailMadad and RPF, seeking assistance during the journey.In one post, Singh claimed that he spotted a mouse inside the coach and that the rodent damaged food items he was carrying. Photographs shared by him showed food packets that he alleged had been damaged. He sought immediate intervention from onboard housekeeping and pest-control staff.Singh also posted a video alleging water leakage inside the coach and asked railway authorities to send assistance.His complaints did not stop there. Singh alleged that unauthorised passengers had crowded the reserved B1 coach, including its doorway and passage. He shared a photograph purportedly showing passengers sitting near the coach entrance.In a series of posts, he repeatedly sought deployment of RPF personnel and the travelling ticket examiner to clear the coach. Singh claimed that even after the TTE asked the passengers to leave, they continued to remain inside.“No one is here for past 30 minutes,” he wrote in another post while seeking intervention.Singh also complained that the train was running significantly late, adding to his ordeal.An official response from the office of the Divisional Railway Manager, Lucknow Division of North Eastern Railway, was awaited on the passenger’s allegations and action taken, if any.
