New Delhi: A 15-year-old Class IX student was allegedly stabbed to death in west Delhi’s Nangloi Thursday following a quarrel over his friendship with a female classmate, police said. Three juveniles were apprehended within a few hours for their alleged involvement in the murder.Police got a call from Sonia Hospital in the afternoon regarding the admission of a boy with a stab injury. A police team went to the hospital and found that the boy had a stab wound measuring around 3 by 1.5 inches on his right thigh. He succumbed to excessive blood loss while undergoing treatment, police said.Cops said the boy was going to school with his friends and the female classmate when the three boys intercepted them and questioned the girl about her friendship with the boy. A brief altercation followed, following which the student and his friends started returning home.Around 20 minutes later, the three boys allegedly intercepted them again and picked a quarrel with the student over his friendship with the girl. One of the boys allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the student on the thigh. The boys then fled the spot, police said. A murder case has been registered at Nangloi police station.
