2 BJP, 1 Congress candidates elected unopposed in Ramgarh Shekhawati municipality
Two BJP candidates and one Congress candidate were elected without opposition in the Ramgarh Shekhawati Municipality.

Jhunjhunu: Three candidates — two from BJP and one from Congress — were elected unopposed in three wards of Ramgarh Shekhawati municipality in Sikar district after all independent candidates withdrew their nominations Thursday.In Ward 12, Congress’s Sofia Dalkhaniya was elected unopposed, while BJP’s Sarla Saini and Manoj Dhand were elected unopposed from Wards 14 and 18, respectively.BJP has not fielded candidates in Ward 12, while Congress did not field candidates in Wards 14 and 18. In Ward 12, three independents had filed nominations against Dalkhaniya, while two independents had entered the fray against Saini in Ward 14. One independent had filed a nomination against Dhand in Ward 18.All six independents withdrew their nominations Thursday, paving the way for the three candidates to be elected unopposed.BJP leader Shravan Chaudhary is overseeing the party’s election campaign in the municipality.Meanwhile, in Bisau municipality of Jhunjhunu district, BJP’s Priyanka Chejara from Ward 12 and Lalita from Ward 13 were also elected unopposed.In Sikar Nagar Parishad, Congress’s Mayadevi from Ward 65 had earlier been elected unopposed.
