Chandigarh: The UT state election commission will conduct the draw of lots for reservation of municipal corporation wards for Scheduled Caste candidates, including SC women, and women (General) on Sept 11. The exercise, ahead of the MC elections slated for Dec, will be held at 3pm at the UT State Guest House in Sector 6. Political parties have been invited to attend, with a maximum of five representatives from each party allowed owing to limited seating capacity.
