Aurobindo Pharma arm incorporates Avogent Lifesciences in IndiaHyderabad: Aurobindo Pharma on Tuesday said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Apitoria Pharma Private Limited, has incorporated Avogent Lifesciences Private Limited as a new wholly-owned subsidiary in India.Avogent, incorporated on Aug 31, 2026, will operate in the pharmaceuticals sector and has been formed to undertake manufacturing and marketing operations in India and overseas, aligning with Aurobindo’s core business focus, Aurobindo said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Tuesday.The company said the transaction involves a 100% cash subscription to Avogent’s share capital by Apitoria. The initial subscription is Rs 5 crore, comprising 50 lakh equity shares of Rs 10 each.Aurobindo said Avogent is a related party because it is owned through Apitoria, but the company’s promoters and promoter group have no interest in the transaction.It also said that no governmental or regulatory approvals are required for the incorporation, and no completion timeline applies because Avogent has already been incorporated.
