Jhajjar: Haryana Police’s special task force (STF), Bahadurgarh unit, has arrested four persons allegedly linked to gangsters Rohit Godara and Naveen Boxer and recovered four foreign-made pistols, nine magazines and three live cartridges.STF officials said three suspects were intercepted in a Maruti Suzuki Brezza near the Loharu feeder on the Dadri-Bhiwani road following specific intelligence inputs. Police allegedly recovered three foreign-made pistols, seven magazines and a live cartridge from them.Their interrogation led police to another alleged associate in Professor Colony, Dadri. The man, Siddharth, said to be a lawyer, was arrested and a Glock 9mm pistol and two live cartridges were allegedly recovered from him.STF DSP Naresh Kumar said the arrested suspects included Ankit alias Bittu, Ritik and Bhawani. Police said Bhawani has nine criminal cases, Ankit six and Ritik two.The STF alleged the accused were preparing to carry out a major criminal incident and were working for a syndicate linked to Godara and Boxer. Police are probing the network’s alleged role in recruiting youths and supplying weapons, including foreign-made firearms allegedly sourced through Boxer, who is based abroad, according to the STF.
