Varanasi: Varanasi Police on Wednesday arrested a 42-year-old man for allegedly sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and pornographic videos through an online messaging group.Cyber cell in charge sub-inspector Saurabh Shahi lodged a case at Chowk police station on Tuesday against Sartaj Ahmed alias Raju.Police said the accused allegedly circulated CSAM involving a minor along with other pornographic videos in a group named ‘Girls Group Only’.A case was registered against the accused under Section 67B of the Information Technology Act.Further investigation and legal proceedings are underway.
