Noida: Noida Authority has planned to develop an automobile showroom hub in Sector 105 along Noida Expressway. It has invited automobile dealers and manufacturers to develop an organised auto showroom and allied commercial hub.The Authority has earmarked a 12,596-square-metre commercial land parcel for the proposed development with a permissible FAR of 4.0. The land parcel is 456m in length and has a minimum width of 19.96m.Eight plots have been planned on the land parcel. It includes five plots for auto showrooms, one multi-level parking plot, two restaurant plots and one additional commercial plot. The showroom plots range from about 2,231 sqm to 2,300 sqm, while the multi-level parking plot measures 2,261 sqm. Two 500-sqm plots have been earmarked for restaurants.Noida already has several automobile dealerships, particularly around Udyog Marg and other commercial and industrial sectors. However, these dealerships have developed individually rather than as part of a planned automobile hub. The proposed Sector 105 development aims to bring multiple automobile brands together at one designated location.A multi-brand hub would allow customers to compare different brands, models and prices at a single location. The proposed complex also includes allied commercial facilities and parking, making it more of an automobile-retail destination than a collection of individual showrooms.The area is surrounded by wide roads and will be helpful for test drives, movement of vehicle inventory, service vehicles and deliveries.The Authority has also issued an expression of interest seeking applications from interested companies. Interested applicants can submit their queries by Sept 8, while a pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Sept 11. The application deadline is Sept 18 at 5pm.
