Narnaul: A 36-year-old Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) personnel was killed after being hit by a freight train on the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) line near New Ateli railway station on Monday.RPSF is a wing of the RPF.The deceased, Preetam Singh of Jhal village in Rewari district, was posted in Hooghly, West Bengal. He had reportedly taken leave and come home but had not told his family about his arrival.The body was found on the DFC line near Bajad village. Narnaul GRP reached the spot and shifted it to Narnaul civil hospital for postmortem before handing it over to the family.Police are probing why Preetam reached the area and how he came to be on the DFC line. His family said he was a father of two, a son and a daughter.
