Udaipur: Three children were injured after a stray dog attacked them while they were playing outside their homes in Patdi Mohkampura village in Kushalgarh area of Banswara around 8.30am Tuesday.The injured children — 1.5-year-old Balvan, three-year-old Kela and one-year-old Raviraj were initially taken to Kushalgarh Hospital. They were later referred to Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Banswara for further treatment.According to the children’s families, Balvan was playing outside his house when the dog suddenly attacked him and bit him on the cheek, near the eye and ear. Hearing his cries, his parents rushed out and drove the dog away with sticks.The dog then attacked two other children in the neighbourhood. It clawed Kela on the head, tearing her skin, while Raviraj was struck on the chest by the dog’s paws.The children were given primary treatment at Kushalgarh Hospital.
