Dibrugarh: Security forces arrested an active cadre of the NSCN (IM) during a joint operation in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tirap district on Sunday and recovered a pistol, ammunition and documents from his possession.The person was identified as Wangchan Wangsu, 31, who described himself as a private of the NSCN (IM), according to security officials.The forces recovered a pistol, a magazine and five live rounds of .32-calibre ammunition from Wangsu, officials said. They also recovered Rs 5,450 in cash, three Aadhaar cards belonging to different individuals, a voter ID card, a list of phone numbers and a torch and its charger.
