Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy will arrive in Hyderabad on Monday morning after concluding all his scheduled events in the United Kingdom, where he met with the representatives of various universities and invited them for collaboration with the Telangana govt and to set up their campuses in Hyderabad.The CM expressed gratitude for the support from Congress party national president Mallikarjun Kharge on the issue of the Centre denying him permission to travel to the US. “I am very thankful to my party, @Khargeji, all the leaders and people across the country who supported me in this issue in the national interest,” he said.The CM will be arriving in the city amid an increasing demand on the party leadership to take action against endowments minister Konda Surekha and her daughter K Sushmitha. Surekha said she would speak to the CM on his return to the city.On Sunday morning, Revanth and IT and industries minister D Sridhar Babu met members of the Telugu diaspora in London. They emphasised that the diaspora should also become partners in the state’s development and urged them to serve as effective ambassadors for Telangana by vigorously promoting the ‘Telangana Rising’ objectives worldwide.Meanwhile, the Telangana CMO, in a post on X on the occasion of National Space Day, said, “With the success of Chandrayaan-3, India has demonstrated its scientific and technological prowess to the world by setting foot in the lunar South Pole region. Behind these triumphs lie years of hard work, dedication, and relentless research. I wholeheartedly congratulate each and every individual who contributed to this great achievement,” the CMO stated on X.“By encouraging startups, Telangana is emerging as a SpaceTech hub. The youth should take steps toward new innovations. They must dream big. They should move forward with determination until those dreams are realised. Science is our strength. Innovations are our future. Space must be our next destination,” the statement added.
