Chennai: Former minister V Senthilbalaji appeared before the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) in Alandur on Saturday for questioning in connection with a case involving alleged irregularities in the functioning of Tasmac. Investigators questioned him about the alleged irregularities, documents collected during the searches and his links with the other accused.The DVAC FIR names Senthilbalaji, former Tasmac managing director S Vishakan, former senior regional managers Rama Durai and Panneerselvam, and three associates of Senthilbalaji. On July 29, DVAC teams conducted searches at 41 locations.
