Krishnanagar (Nadia): Two more were arrested on Monday in connection with the murders of Nadia Congress neta Anisur Rahman and his son, taking the total number of arrests to five. The suspects were arrested in Digha and Labhpur, Krishnanagar SP Atul V said.On Monday, a forensic team examined the scene of the crime. The bodies of the father-son duo were handed over to the family following postmortem, the SP added.The two arrested have been identified as Pocha, alias Rajen, alias Ajan, and Biswajit Biswas. Ten persons have been named in the complaint lodged by the victims’ family. Of the five arrested so far, two are named in the FIR.Local Congress functionary Tipu Sultan alleged that the murder was orchestrated by jailed TMC neta Jabbar Sheikh.
