Mumbai traffic police announces odd-even parking for Bandra’s St Andrew’s Road

Mumbai: City traffic police on Friday issued a notification after noticing inconvenience faced by local citizens on St. Andrew’s Road in Bandra (W). A report was submitted by Bandra Traffic Division regarding odd and even date parking of vehicles on the road, following which a temporary notification declared odd and even parking on St. Andrew’s Road extended for the next six months starting Aug 15.DCP (Headquarters and Central Division) Dipali Dhate said orders regarding changes in the traffic system would remain in temporary effect from 12 am on Saturday to 12.01 am on Feb 15, 2027. “To prevent danger, obstruction, and inconvenience to the public, a notification on a temporary basis has been issued to declare St. Andrews Road Extended Road as odd-even parking,” Dhate said.The order notified odd-even parking on the road between Salsette Catholic Co-op. Hsg. Soc. and Learners Academy, I.C.S. E. School, excluding all types of commercial vehicles and heavy vehicles. Parking was permitted according to odd and even dates. According to the Gregorian calendar, parking was allowed on the eastern side of the road on even dates of the month, and on the western side of the road on odd dates.
