Lucknow: Students enrolled in over 700 colleges affiliated with Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) who have not yet created their Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID may face problems while filling examination forms and accessing their results. The ABC ID is a digital storehouse created by the Govt of India under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.It enables students to digitally store and manage their academic credits earned during their higher education.AKTU controller of examinations Prof Deepak Nagariya has directed directors and principals of all affiliated institutions to ensure that the ABC IDs are created and updated on the university’s ERP portal within the stipulated deadline.According to the directive, ABC IDs of all students enrolled in the 2025-26 session and earlier batches must be created and updated on the university ERP login by August 15.The university has also warned that students without an updated ABC ID on the ERP portal will not be able to have their examination results uploaded to DigiLocker. AKTU is currently uploading students’ results to the National Academic Depository through DigiLocker.“If a student’s ABC ID is not available or updated on the university ERP portal, their result will not be uploaded to DigiLocker. Such students will also not be able to see their upcoming examination forms on the ERP portal,” said AKTU Vice-Chancellor Prof JP Pandey.
