Hyderabad: Two migrant workers died in a road accident on a service road of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) at the Financial District when their four-wheeler went out of control due to alleged speeding and rammed into the pillar of the ORR bridge in Kokapet in the early hours of Saturday.The deceased were identified as Kanhaiyalal, 25, and Deram, 24, both tile workers from Rajasthan. They were working at different projects in the Financial District and surrounding areas while staying at Indra Reddy Nagar near Kollur.The accident occurred around 12.30am on Saturday when the two victims were travelling from Indra Reddy Nagar to Sattva Knowledge City area in Nanakramguda in a Tavera vehicle.“Kanhaiyalal, who was driving the car at high speed, lost control over the wheel and crashed into a pillar of the ORR’s Neopolis bridge on the service road close to the dumping yard. As a result of the accident, Kanhaiyalal and Deram, who was seated next to him, died on the spot. This was a self-caused accident involving no other parties,” Gachibowli police said in an official statement.Alerted by the passersby, police reached the spot and shifted the bodies for a post-mortem examination. A case was registered under Section 106 (1) (causing death due to negligence) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Gachibowli police station.
