Shimla: Chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu will preside over the state-level Independence Day celebrations at Barsar in Hamirpur district on Aug 15.The state govt has assigned the Vidhan Sabha Speaker, cabinet ministers and an MLA to preside over district-level functions across Himachal Pradesh. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania will attend the Bilaspur function, while deputy chief minister Mukesh Agnihotri will preside over the celebrations in Chamba.Health minister Col Dhani Ram Shandil (retd) will lead the Solan function, agriculture minister Chander Kumar will be in Dharamshala (Kangra), and industries minister Harshwardhan Chauhan will attend the Kullu function.Revenue minister Jagat Singh Negi will be the chief guest at Reckong Peo (Kinnaur), education minister Rohit Thakur at Shimla, panchayati raj minister Anirudh Singh at Una, town and country planning minister Rajesh Dharmani at Nahan (Sirmaur), Ayush minister Yadvinder Goma at Mandi, and Kullu MLA Sunder Singh Thakur at Keylong (Lahaul and Spiti).
