Mumbai: A fire broke out at six scrap godowns in Mankhurd at 5 am on Friday, civic officials said. A person identified as Shahrukh Khan (25), sustained 40% to 45% burns and was admitted to Sion Hospital. He is said to be stable. Four fire engines were rushed to the spot, and the blaze was doused at 8.40 am, said a BMC official.
