Ahmedabad: To streamline educational administration, the Gujarat education department has officially bifurcated the Ahmedabad City district education officer’s office into two separate jurisdictions: Ahmedabad East and Ahmedabad West.Following the reorganization, a formal circular mandates that all schools process administrative, academic, financial, legal, and govt matters exclusively through their assigned regional headquarters.School trustees, administrators, and principals must now direct all correspondence, proposals, approvals, reports, and online portal submissions to their designated East or West DEO office. Officials emphasized that all paperwork and reporting must adhere to strict accuracy and meet designated deadlines.The DEO issued a stern warning against non-compliance, stating that any delay, negligence, or disregard of these new directives will result in strict disciplinary and punitive action under government rules.
