Bahadurgarh: Jhajjar police have arrested the brother of the main accused in the murder of toll security contractor Neeraj, the first breakthrough in the case in which five people have been named. Yogesh, 24, was produced before a court and remanded to two days’ police custody.Police said the murder stemmed from an old rivalry after a dispute between Neeraj’s nephew Manjeet and prime accused Nitesh. According to investigators, Neeraj and Manjeet were lured to a meeting on the pretext of settling the matter, where they were allegedly ambushed. Neeraj was shot dead, while Manjeet sustained a gunshot injury to his leg.Based on Manjeet’s complaint, police registered a case of murder, attempt to murder and other offences under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
