Three of family, including 4-year-old, killed as car rams divider

Hyderabad: Three members of a family, including a four-year-old girl, died after the car in which they were travelling rammed into a divider in Bachupally of Sangareddy district in the early of Tuesday. Seven others were injured in the accident. The deceased were identified as Mohammed Shameem Begum (50), her son Mohammed Nadeem (35), and his daughter Anabiya Thaskeem (4). According to police officials, the family, residents of Nanded, was travelling to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) late on Monday to receive Nadeem’s sister, who was arriving from Saudi Arabia. When they reached Bachupally around 3.45 am, Nadeem’s brother-in-law Mobeen, who was driving the SUV, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a divider. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn onto the opposite side of the and roll over multiple times before come to a halt off the road.“At the time of the accident, the road was wet due to rain,” Kangti station house officer Venkat Reddy told TOI. Police suspect speeding to be the cause of the accident. On being informed, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to hospital. The bodies were sent to a govt hospital in Narayanked for postmortem. Police registered a case and launched an investigation.
