Kolkata: The city and south Bengal remained cloudy and received drizzles on Saturday. Moderate rain is expected in Kolkata and surrounding districts on Sunday, while north Bengal is expected to be lashed by heavy rainfall on Sunday. The monsoon trough now passes through Ranchi, Digha and southeastwards towards northwest Bay of Bengal across Gangetic West Bengal, said a Met office bulletin.In view of the prevailing conditions, heavy to very heavy rainfall has been predicted at one or two places over the districts of north Bengal till Sunday.
