Hyderabad: BRS working president KT Rama Rao said the Congress govt has completely lost the confidence of the people and will be remembered in history as a government that invited massive public resentment even before completing half of its term. He alleged that the Congress had transformed itself into a deceitful govt by failing to implement the promises it made before the elections and betraying every section of society. That is precisely why every section of the people is now strongly opposing the Congress govt, he said. KTR made these remarks while addressing an extensive meeting of party leaders, Hyderabad MLAs, MLCs, public representatives and senior leaders.KTR held a review meeting with Hyderabad city BRS MLAs at LB Nagar MLA Sudheer Reddy’s residence on Thursday along with other senior party leaders on the arrangements for the youth convention proposed by the party at Saroornagar on July 18.Speaking at the meeting, the working president accused the state govt of deceiving the youth and unemployed in the name of its Youth Declaration. Students and unemployed youth continue to expose the government’s failure to honour those promises, he said. To highlight the Congress government’s failure to implement its pre-election declarations, BRS has been organizing a series of public meetings across the state. Following the Warangal Farmers’ Meeting, a massive Yuva Sangrama Sabha with youth and students will be held at Saroor Nagar Stadium on July 18 to expose the failures of the Congress Youth Declaration, KTR announced.KTR said the Congress govt had failed to fulfil a single promise made to women, farmers, students and unemployed youth. Instead of focusing on public welfare, it had turned corruption, scams, irregularities and administrative excesses into its daily agenda. He criticized CM Revanth Reddy, stating that his words, governance and policies had become a burden on the people.He said that even the CM’s own internal survey reflected severe public dissatisfaction with the Congress government. Realizing that the Congress government’s days are numbered, Revanth Reddy has resorted to making reckless statements out of frustration, he said.ends/
