Good news on key water allocations soon for Mahbubnagar: CM

Mahbubnagar: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday said talks were underway with a neighbouring state on key water allocations and “good news” would soon be shared with the people of Mahbubnagar district.The discussions aim to secure 90 TMC of water for the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme and 30 TMC for the Dindi project, he said while inaugurating the customer qualification plant at Amara Raja’s Giga Corridor in Divitipally.The CM said the proposed allocations would address long-pending irrigation needs and support farming families dependent on assured water supply. The govt, he added, was committed to improving livelihoods through infrastructure, irrigation and regional development.Revanth Reddy said the “Telangana Rising” agenda would focus on public infrastructure, transparent governance and long-term growth. He said his administration would adopt useful practices from previous governments while avoiding policy uncertainty.Highlighting the Telangana Rising 2047 initiative, he said the state’s future depended on stable governance, better connectivity and equitable access to resources. He asserted that Telangana’s growth was “unstoppable” and development would reach every district.
