Margao: South Goa collector Egna Cleetus has directed that all centres hosting the upcoming NEET (UG) examination be made accessible to persons with disabilities, including wheelchair access and suitable arrangements on accessible floors, as part of a comprehensive preparedness review held ahead of the national medical entrance test.The meeting, chaired by Cleetus along with South Goa superintendent of police Santosh Dessai, was attended by senior police officials, principals and teachers of PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 and No. 2, along with other officials across departments.Mamlatdars have been tasked with carrying out first-level sensitisation in coordination with the police to maintain vigil.On the conduct of the examination, officials emphasised that valid ID cards will be mandatory for all candidates. Separate frisking arrangements for male and female candidates are to be ensured, with registration and biometric verification.
