New Delhi: A 45-year-old man allegedly drowned after rainwater accumulated inside his jhuggi in northeast Delhi’s Sunder Nagri Friday evening. Police received information around 5.45pm, and found Dheeraj dead inside the waterlogged room. “Investigation suggests that Dheeraj was under the influence of alcohol when he allegedly slipped inside the jhuggi after rainwater entered the room. Unable to get up, he drowned in the accumulated water,” police said.
