Jind: Haryana deputy speaker Krishan Lal Middha said Prime minister Narendra Modi will flag off Asia’s first hydrogen-powered train from Jind during his visit to the district on July 17.Middha said that during his visit, the Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation stones for several major development projects across Haryana, covering the sectors of healthcare, roads, railways, tourism, and infrastructure. These projects are expected to improve connectivity, strengthen healthcare services, generate employment opportunities, and accelerate industrial and economic growth in the state.“The Prime Minister will inaugurate Bhiwani and Narnaul medical colleges, lay the foundation stone for the Kurukshetra elevated railway track, a 34-km stretch of Ambala–Kala Amb greenfield expressway, and the Haryana section of the Delhi–Katra expressway,” Middha said. He added that these projects will provide a new direction to Haryana’s development, and significantly strengthen the state’s infrastructure. He added that the government’s objective is to ensure that the benefits of development reach every region of Haryana.“The Prime minister will also address a massive public rally in Jind, which is expected to witness participation from people across the state. Visitors will also get a glimpse of Haryana’s rich cultural heritage, folk traditions, and hospitality,” the deputy speaker said.
